Nuclear Fusion

 

The XLfit graph below illustrates the process of nuclear fusion at the center of the sun. The line KT shows the energy value at the center of the sun where T is the temperature and K is the Boltzmann constant. The curve N(K) shows the relative energy distribution for a proton at the core temperature. The final curve, P(K), shows the relative probability of barrier penetration for a proton-proton collision.
