Equilibrium Bond Lengths

Often it is easier to observe the characteristics of a system using a graphical representation of the information. In this example, XLfit has been used to illustrate the relationship between the potential energy of a two-particle system and the distance between the particles in nanometers.

The forces exerted by the particles on one another are clearly visible. Using these principles, XLfit can be used to model and predict the equilibrium bond lengths for particle systems.
